Study Abroad

Students wanting to minor in Chinese are encouraged and expected to spend one semester or one full year abroad to study the language in mainland China or Taiwan. Other programs that the college endorses include: (1) CET, (2) the Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) program in Beijing and Shanghai (at East China Normal University). Students interested in these or other off-campus opportunities to study Chinese should check with the program director or with the coordinator of Off-Campus International Programs Office.
